Manchester United are starting to look like the real deal, after the customary few, early season weeks of sluggishness. The defeat of Chelsea last weekend will spur them on in terms of confidence and belief. It could turn out to be a decisive victory in the title race. Having already travelled to Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton, Manchester United have a smooth looking run of games after the big one against Arsenal on Saturday lunchtime.
Furthermore, injuries look to finally be clearing up at Old Trafford. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are nearing fitness, though probably not ready for inclusion in this squad. Other than that, Nemanja Vidic is United’s only injured party.
Manchester United have a really good record against Arsenal at Old Trafford of late and they have every reason to believe that they can triumph again, against an Arsenal side that is having another hit and miss season.
