Liverpool: Deal Agreed

Liverpool have a agreed a deal to sign young German striker Samed Yesil. The 18 year old Bayer Leverkusen player, who shone in the U17 World Cup in 2011 with six goals, has yet to agree personal terms but that is thought to be a formality. With 19 goals in 21 U17 games for his national team, he has so far been prolific at youth level, but only has the solitary appearance for Leverkusen under his belt.

It’s not the high profile signing that many at Liverpool would be hoping for but Rodgers has shown with the purchase of a youngster that he is looking at the long term and planning to be at the helm for just that.
